D'Entrecasteaux offers 8 individually styled ensuite rooms including a tower suite, most with water views and their own balconies. There is also a room designed for guests with disabilities. Each of the spacious rooms have been individually styled and have a provincial feel that suits the country setting and the architecture of the property. All the rooms are elegantly furnished with antiques have their own modern ensuite.

The sitting room enjoys morning sun, tall arched windows overlooking the gardens and bay, an open fireplace and direct access to its own terrace. The library is situated on the mezzanine level – the perfect spot for reading, writing or surfing the net. Broadband internet access is complimentary. The media / music room has a baby grand piano and a large plasma television.

Suites

The D'Entrecasteaux property has 9 rooms for up to 21 guests staying at one time. Each of our rooms have spacious ensuite bathrooms with marble vanities. The rooms on the upper levels of the building have either views of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel or of our beautiful garden. The Chateau Suites have french doors and their own private balcony. The spacious Tower Suite has a very spacious and light interior with a beautiful ensuite with a claw foot bath and marble vanity. It is located on the top floor of the property and has magnificent bay views from the balcony.

Dining

At D’Entrecasteaux we offer our in house guest a table d'hote dining experience, which translates to the hosts table. We source the freshest local produce on a daily basis from local farms and fishermen in creating a three-course menu with French provincial flair. Private functions, dinners, parties and BBQs can be arranged. The dining conservatory can seat 54 people. The tall arched windows and neutral decor makes it a popular venue for wedding and special occasion functions. Sample Menu

A separate function room, with its own bar and private deck, overlooks the bay, and is ideal for cocktail functions, meetings, small conferences and seminars. A licensed bar adjoins the dining room and offers a first class selection of local and imported wines.

Indoor pool

An indoor heated pool (salt and ozone), occupies its own building and opens onto the courtyards and overlooks the bay. Indulgent and therapeutic massage treatments of varying modalities can be arranged with prior notice.

Landscaped Gardens

Mediterranean plants combine with native Tasmanian coastal grasses, to provide the perfect spot for relaxing and viewing many species of bird life. Terraces and courtyards offer a place to relax and enjoy a drink, soak up some sun, dine, or just enjoy the views.
